Jack’s All Star Bar Mitzvah celebration hit it out of the park! His sports-themed soiree checked all the boxes from an air hockey table and ping pong for guests to play, to a glow stick dance party and an all-you-can-eat candy bar buffet to satisfy every sweet tooth. Both kids and adults alike had a ball and it was an all around fun and memorable party! Congratulations, Jack, on your fabulous Bar Mitzvah! We loved hosting your friends and family and being a part of your special day.
Each year, the Good Shepherd Foundation holds the “Grizzly Gala”, which is a fundraising event to support the Good Shepherd Catholic School here in Denver. Dedicated school parents volunteer to chair the event and the generous school community contributes its time, talent, and treasure to ensure a successful event year after year. This year, The Cable Center was delighted to host this wonderful event! The table centerpieces boasted beautiful orchids and other white flowers. Each tablescape was accented with pearls and plumage, which were a nod to the event’s roaring 20’s theme. The large marquee letters and incredible balloon installation made a big impact for guests upon their arrival. It was a spectacular event and we are grateful for the amazing vendors, team, and guests that made it all happen!
We are well into 2022 and wedding season is picking up! The events industry has emerged from a tough couple of years and is full steam ahead. Marriages in 2021/2020 were all about elopements and microweddings, but now we are seeing a huge comeback in the bold wedding scene. Couples are infusing their own unique style with traditional elements and show-stopping design choices to really celebrate their love in a big way.
Let’s take a look at some of this year’s wedding trends that will make 2022 a year to remember.
We saw muted and neutral color tones along with lots of serene greens and whites in years past. But in 2022, it’s all about the bold and the beautiful. Throw in some wild textures for movement, and the floral design instantly makes a celebratory and cheerful statement.
Evening weddings. Formal attire. Tuxes. Ballgowns. Black tie affairs are making a comeback. Don’t get us wrong, everyone loves the laid back feel of an outdoor farm wedding (and those can even be super chic!) but there is something special about a formal, evening wedding that really feels romantic and elevated. When the guests are gussied up alongside the white and black of the bride and groom, you get some killer photos not to mention memories that really feel once in a lifetime.
Dried Flowers and Centerpieces
Luxury table setting plates, crystal glasses, gold cutlery and…. dried florals. Yes, you read that correctly. Dried flowers are the “it” accent for floral design in 2022! We love this trend so much. It feels boho yet classic, textural yet soft. Overall it’s lush and chic and we can’t get enough!
The music and dancing has always been a key element at weddings but now couples really want entertainment that is over the top. A big focus has been put on making the entertainment really stand out in unexpected ways:
Champagne Towers
Champagne towers are going to be huge this year as a way to freshen up the traditional toast. It feels decadent and fun and flirty. Take it up a notch and try martinis, too!
There couldn’t have been a better way to say goodbye to 2021 and ring in 2022! Jon and Shawn got married on New Year’s Eve and delighted guests with a beautiful ceremony and reception on the last night of the year. It was quite the celebration with cascading white florals and dim romantic lighting. Snow flurries made for a whimsical arrival and then indoors, candles provided a cozy and intimate ceremony and dinner. It was a joyful and celebratory night all around and we are so thrilled for the happy couple. Congratulations, J + S!
Liliana and Eddie’s wedding back in July was the perfect summer celebration. From a dress change and first look on the Mezzanine, to cocktail hour in Drendel Gardens, to wedding party photos in Rogers Amphitheater and a memorable reception in The Great Hall, it was a beautiful event for a beautiful couple. Cascading florals framed the sweetheart table, while accents of gold perfectly complimented the emerald and white color scheme. This sweet couple exuded so much love, it was a pleasure being a part of their day! Congratulations, L + E!
This September, Olympia and Dimitri celebrated their wedding reception at The Cable Center. Beautiful greenery and crisp white florals graced the tables and centerpieces. A stage was set up below the video tower for the band to perform and the night was filled with such joy and energy. The couple was stunning and timeless, and every detail was thoughtfully planned. We loved working with you and wish you all the happiness in the world! Congratulations, O+D!
