Lauren and Nick's New Year's Eve wedding was nothing short of amazing. As the guests arrived, they walked a blue carpet to the ceremony space. The Malone Theater was transformed into a winter wonderland complete with snow, elegant drapery and a stunning structure made of silver trees. Guests enjoyed a custom screening of personal photos and scenes from Hollywood love stories before witnessing the couple recite their vows.
After the ceremony ended, guests moved to the Daniels Great Hall for dinner, toasts and dancing. Wow! LED candles lined the walls and the soft, blue glow from the under-lighting of the tables let everyone know that that this would be a night to remember.
The details were endless. Snowflakes and sparkles were everywhere from the table tops to the ceiling. Lauren and Nick cleverly chose the video tower as a way to display live footage from Times Square in New York City. They wanted their guests to party like it was New Year's Eve. As the clock approached midnight, the energy could not be contained. Everyone readied themselves with the party supplies that were provided to celebrate the New Year. The party continued as guests enjoyed late-night snacks and trips to the candy station.
Our favorite thing about this event is that it wasn't just a wedding or New Year's Eve party. It was a gathering of 250 family members and friends to witness the joining of love, in addition to welcoming the arrival of 2012. Lauren and Nick created the perfect balance of romance and fun.
None of this would have been possible without the talented vendors – Table 6 Productions, Newberry Brothers, Frances Photography, Indigo Sky, DJ Brian Howe, and Catering by Design made this event one for The Cable Center history books! Most of all, thank you to Lauren, Nick, their lovely families and all of their friends for choosing The Cable Center.
